Welcome to the Bible GPS Course
It is so easy to feel a little bit lost and lonely in this world. We know that life can have rather sharp edges and that pain and sorrow are part of our existence. It is therefore not always easy to find our way in life.
The good news is that God has given us a GPS to find our way through life – God’s Word, our God Positioning System. The BIBLE GPS will help you to navigate through the Bible and to make sense of the Bible.
Through the BIBLE GPS course you will discover that the message of the Bible is just as clear, compelling and current as when it was written.
The Approach
God communicates to us through the Bible's different types of literature / genres - Narrative, Law, Wisdom, Psalms, Prophets, Gospels, Epistles and Apocalyptic / symbolic writings.
Think of the different types of literature as different methods of transport e.g. cars, airplanes and sailboats. It is obvious that you cannot navigate a car like a ship and vice versa. The same principal applies to literature. You cannot interpret a narrative like Psalms (poetry). The language of a Narrative is straight forward, with less figurative language than poetry.
But with these online Bible lessons, you will be equipped with the skill to drive, fly and sail. Isn't that cool?
